Terms of Service

Effective date: July 27, 2026

Please read these Terms carefully. They explain your rights and responsibilities when using Jobtie.

By using the Service you also agree to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal information.

1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Jobtie’s website, web application, APIs, and related tools at jobtie.ai (the “Service”). By creating an account, starting a checkout, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. If you do not agree, do not use Jobtie.

2. The Service

Jobtie helps candidates manage job-application workflows: storing a master profile and resume, saving common answers, queuing job URLs from supported boards, autofilling and optionally submitting applications, tracking status, and—on eligible plans—using Interview AI for realtime interview assist.

Features, supported boards, plan limits, and availability may change. We may add, modify, or discontinue functionality with reasonable notice when practical. Free and paid tiers may differ in quotas, Interview AI access, and other capabilities as described on the pricing page or in your account.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) and legally able to enter a contract. You are responsible for providing accurate registration information, keeping credentials secure, and all activity under your account.

Notify us promptly of unauthorized access. We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create risk, or abuse the Service (including multi-account abuse to evade plan limits).

4. Your content and licenses

You retain ownership of resumes, profile data, answers, job URLs, transcripts, and other materials you submit (“Your Content”). You grant Jobtie a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, display, and create derivative works from Your Content solely as needed to operate and improve the Service for you (including AI-assisted drafting and form filling you request).

You represent that you have all rights needed to provide Your Content and that it is accurate and lawful. Do not upload others’ personal data without a lawful basis, or content that infringes IP, privacy, or other rights.

5. Applications to employers

When you ask Jobtie to fill or submit an application, you authorize us to interact with third-party sites using Your Content. You are solely responsible for:

  • Choosing which jobs to apply to and reviewing filled forms before submit (especially when auto-submit is enabled).
  • Complying with each employer’s and ATS platform’s terms, authenticity requirements, and anti-automation rules.
  • The truthfulness of information submitted in your name.
  • Any consequences of applications, including employer decisions, account bans on third-party sites, or disputes.

Jobtie is not an employer, recruiter, or employment agency, and does not guarantee interviews, offers, or outcomes. Third-party sites may change without notice; fill/submit success is not guaranteed.

6. Interview AI

Interview AI provides assistive suggestions during interviews you conduct. It is a productivity aid, not a substitute for your judgment, honesty, or professional conduct. You must comply with applicable laws, employer policies, and interview rules. Do not use the feature where it is prohibited.

You control when audio capture or transcription is active. Suggested answers may be incomplete or incorrect—verify before speaking or submitting anything material.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, harassing, or discriminatory purposes.
  • Misrepresent your identity, credentials, or authorization to work.
  • Attempt to bypass plan limits, security controls, rate limits, or access others’ accounts or data.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service except as allowed by law or written permission.
  • Upload malware or interfere with Service integrity.
  • Use Jobtie to spam employers or submit mass applications in violation of third-party terms.
  • Resell or provide the Service as a bureau to third parties without our written consent.

8. Plans, billing, and cancellations

Paid plans are billed through Stripe according to the prices and intervals shown at checkout. Taxes may apply. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel via the billing portal or account controls.

Unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable for partial periods. Downgrades or cancellations take effect at the end of the then-current billing period unless we state otherwise. Free-tier limits and promotions may change.

We may suspend access for failed payments, chargebacks we reasonably believe are abusive, or Terms violations.

9. Jobtie intellectual property

The Service—including software, branding, UI, documentation, and non-user content—is owned by Jobtie or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you. You may not use our marks without prior written permission, except for fair nominative reference.

10. Third-party services

The Service depends on third parties (hosting, Stripe, AI providers, Discord community links, ATS sites, OAuth providers, and others). Their terms and privacy policies apply to your use of those services. Jobtie is not responsible for third-party outages, policy changes, or data practices once data leaves our control under your instructions (for example, a submitted application).

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JOBTIE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT APPLICATIONS WILL SUCCESSFULLY SUBMIT ON EVERY SITE.

AI OUTPUTS MAY BE INACCURATE. YOU MUST REVIEW THEM BEFORE RELYING ON THEM OR SUBMITTING THEM TO EMPLOYERS.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JOBTIE AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, AND PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR JOB OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $100. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE CASES, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED.

13. Indemnification

You will defend and indemnify Jobtie and its affiliates against claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from Your Content, your applications to employers, your misuse of Interview AI, your violation of these Terms or law, or your violation of third-party rights or platform terms.

14. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access immediately for Terms violations, legal risk, nonpayment, or to protect the Service or others. Upon termination, your license to use the Service ends. Provisions that by nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, limitations, and indemnity) will survive.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Material changes may be communicated by email or in-product notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and cancel any subscription.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence require otherwise. Courts located in Delaware will have exclusive jurisdiction for disputes that are not subject to mandatory local venue rules, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any appropriate forum for IP or unauthorized access claims.

Before filing a claim, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us (see Contact) and allowing 30 days for a response.

17. Miscellaneous

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Jobtie regarding the Service. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Headings are for convenience only.
