Tamarind Bio is hiring an Infrastructure Engineer to lead the scaling of its machine learning inference system. The role involves architecting and maintaining infrastructure that currently serves 150+ biological ML models, with plans to scale the platform several orders of magnitude to meet growing demand. The position works closely with founders to design for customer constraints, unpredictable workloads, and unique Bio-ML models, using Kubernetes and other orchestration tools to manage containerized workloads, optimize resource allocation, and ensure high availability. Based on this opening, Tamarind Bio operates in the biological machine learning space, building and deploying a substantial portfolio of models on a cloud-native infrastructure.
