Stacklok provides an enterprise MCP (Model Context Protocol) platform designed to help organizations run, govern, and secure AI agents on existing Kubernetes infrastructure. The platform includes a registry for curating trusted MCP servers, a runtime for deployment with security guardrails, a gateway for centralized access, and a portal for administration and user access. Built on the open-source ToolHive project, Stacklok emphasizes interoperability, policy-as-code governance, and integration with existing observability and identity systems. The company is led by CEO Craig McLuckie and CTO Joe Beda, two co-creators of Kubernetes. Stacklok is currently hiring a Staff Forward Deployed Engineer with Kubernetes expertise to support enterprise deployments of their AI agent control plane.
