Shef

About

Shef is building a homemade food marketplace that connects home cooks—including refugees, immigrants, stay-at-home parents, retirees, and out-of-work restaurant chefs—with people seeking wholesome, affordable meals. The company’s stated mission centers on economic empowerment and cultural inclusivity, giving cooks the opportunity to earn meaningful income while expanding access to home-cooked food. Based on current job postings, Shef is actively hiring fullstack software engineers to support its platform. The company is focused on reimagining home cooking across the country and is building technology to scale this community-driven marketplace.
