Flock Safety builds technology for public safety, and this engineering leadership role sits at the core of its operations. The company’s device fleet is scaling rapidly, and the Fleet team is responsible for the internal tools, web services, alarms, and status-tracking platforms that monitor the health of this live device network nationwide. The work is described as mission-critical: when a device goes down, customers feel it immediately, making this team the first line of defense. This is a player-coach position, splitting time roughly 60% people management and 40% individual contribution. You would lead a team building and maintaining the systems that keep the network running, while also mentoring engineers and contributing hands-on to the codebase.
